Hospitality

A committee for all parishioners. Dedicated to supporting our parish school through awareness, social events and fundraising. 

Volunteer Opportunities: Help plan and execute events like the Annual Fall Auction, St. Patrick’s Day Raffle, and Trivia Night.

A group for all women ages 20+ to serve the parish community through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.

Volunteer Opportunities: Provide essential supplies for use in the parish church, provide for and assist with funeral dinners, rosary receptions, and community outreach.

When: The third Tuesday in January, April, July and October at 7pm in the Cafeteria.

A beloved annual fundraiser and community event benefiting our parish and school. Its success relies on the generosity of all our parishioners coming together.

Volunteer Opportunities: Advertising the event, setting up the gym and cafeteria, preparing and serving food, clean up and more.

When: Annually on the second Sunday of March.

Prayer

Sunday Mass Ministries help beautify our liturgy and give glory to God. Our Mass Ministries span many diverse types of skills.

Volunteer Opportunities: Sacristans, Altar Servers, Cantors, Instrumentalists, Liturgical Choir, Lectors, Ushers, Rosary Leaders, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and Gift Bearers.

When: Mass ministry dates and times are scheduled in advance and can be found in the bulletin or using Ministry Scheduler Pro. Please contact the office if you need assistance logging in.

Adoration is an opportunity to spend quiet time in the presence of our Lord while lifting up our community in prayer.

Volunteer Opportunities: Make an ongoing appointment with Jesus. Sign up for a weekly hour of prayer.  Currently there are three open hours in need of a permanent adorer: Monday 4-5 pm and 10-11 pm, and Friday 4-5 pm. Contact Connie Seiwert 316-641-1909, or the Parish office 620-532-5440 for more information or to sign up! 

When: Our adoration chapel is open from 4 am Monday morning to 10 pm on Friday. 

Formation

Serving children ages 3 - 12, our after-school CGS is a religious education program rooted in scripture and liturgy, designed to help children develop a lifelong relationship with God.

When: Weekly from September through May.

Volunteer Opportunities: Catechists, catechist assistants, and helpers for material making and repair.

Learn More About CGS

Through fellowship, prayer and service opportunities, CYM builds community and deepens the faith of our High School students.

Volunteer opportunities: Event planners, chaperones, and service project coordinators.

When: Twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 pm.

Through multiple offerings, including Bible studies, prayer groups and educational workshops, our Adult Faith Formation program creates opportunities for ongoing spiritual growth and community building.

Volunteer opportunities: Event coordinators, bible study leaders, speakers, and event helpers.

When: Various times throughout the year. See the bulletin and Facebook for upcoming events.

Service

A group for Catholic women fostering friendship, unity and charity. We support our community with charitable giving including our annual fundraising breakfast, our prayer program for expecting moms in the parish and much more.

When: The first Monday of each month at 6 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Membership Application

A fraternal and charitable group for men. The Kingman Council #1269 hosts an annual fishing trip for fellowship and spiritual reflection and hosts many charitable events including our annual Tootsie Roll Drive, Baby Bottle Drive, Seminarian Breakfast and more.

When: Meetings held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

About the Knights

A service-oriented group committed to helping those in need. Our local conference works directly in the community, providing food and other direct aid for families and individuals facing hardship.

When: Meetings take place every three weeks on Thursdays at 7pm in the Knights of Columbus Hall.

More Information about SSVDP

A lay apostolic organization that serves our parish and community under the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Members participate in weekly meetings and engage in various spiritual works, such as visiting the sick and homebound, praying the Rosary, and distributing Catholic material.
